The Ethics and Internal Analyst I serves as a resource to identify and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets. This role typically involves working closely with the Senior Ethics & Internal Analyst, as well as various other departments and business units to understand their data needs and provide insights that help inform business decisions.

Key Responsibilities:
·Independently assesses risks to address root causes that persistently lead to operational risk losses by challenging both historical and proposed practices.
·Direct focus on data governance and processes necessary to identify, evaluate, mitigate, and monitor risks, fraud, and data exposure.
·Contribute to a high-performance and security culture, emphasizing core initiatives, and developing and executing on current and future strategies that map to the business goals.
·Always conform to the highest standards of conduct and ethics, including sound honesty and integrity.
·Collects, documents, and analyzes data to assess performance and compliance with bank procedures, regulations, service standards and management policies.

Competencies Required:
·Strong written and verbal communication skills with an ability to effectively interact with all levels within the organization.
·Strong technical knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, MapPoint) including advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and SharePoint.
·Comprehensive understanding of banking policies, procedures, laws, and regulations.
·Critical thinking skills, decision making and analytical skills with strong attention to detail.
·Strong organizational and time management skills with superior attention to detail and high concern for data accuracy, combined with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities and projects with competing priorities and to instill a sense of urgency in others as necessary to meet deadlines.
·Ability to operate in a fast-paced, time sensitive environment effectively managing multiple and changing priorities.
·Self-motivated, problem solver, results oriented, and business savvy.
·Proactive self-starter, with a keen eye towards continuous process improvement and the ability to work independently while supporting a team environment.
·Strong organizational skills with superior attention to detail and high concern for data accuracy.
·Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present detailed and complex data into concise and understandable information.
·Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills with developed problem-solving abilities.

·1 years’ progressive report writing or data analytics experience; or a combination of directly related education and experience required.
·2 years of experience in the banking or financial services industry with well-rounded exposure to branch operations and risk management required.

Formal Education & Certification:
·High School Diploma or equivalent required.
·Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Work Status:
·Full-Time.

Supervisory Responsibility:
·None.

Travel:
·Up to 10% travel expected.

Working Conditions:
·Conditions involve lifting no more than ten pounds, sitting most of the time, but may involve walking, moving, or standing for brief periods, and occasionally lifting and carrying articles like files, ledgers, folders, etc.
