About the Role
The ETL and Integrations Developer reports to the Lead Business Analyst at ACRT Services. This position will play a key role in maintaining and optimizing ETL pipelines, developing integrations across critical business systems, and ensuring data flows seamlessly to support organizational decision-making and operations. The role requires technical expertise in databases, ETL processes and integrations as well as a curious, self-motivated approach to solving complex data challenges.
What You’ll Do
Maintain and Optimize ETL Pipelines
Oversee and maintain existing ETL workflows to ensure reliable data ingestion, transformation, and delivery.Diagnose and resolve issues with ETL processes, ensuring data pipelines are healthy and functional.Organize and document existing workflows to improve long-term maintainability.Develop and Support Integrations
Build and maintain integrations with platforms such as Workday and Azure Data Factory.Use APIs to connect systems and support seamless data exchange.Utilize GitHub for version control and deployment of integration-related code.Manage and Maintain Existing Databases
Ensure the health and performance of existing SQL Server databases, including maintaining database tables, monitoring usage, and ensuring data integrity.Perform regular maintenance tasks, such as updating schemas, managing indexes, and resolving issues with data storage or access.Use T-SQL to troubleshoot and diagnose database-related issues, ensuring that data pipelines and integrations operate as expected.Support Data Analysis and Reporting
Build and maintain Power BI dashboards for actionable insights, empowering internal teams to make data-driven decisions.Provide expertise for new dashboarding and reporting needs as the business evolves.Collaborate with internal teams to optimize and redesign reporting workflows.Document and Manage Knowledge
Capture institutional knowledge by documenting processes, workflows, and technical designs.Create flowcharts, wireframes, and technical guides to ensure continuity and clarity.Document database structures, relationships, and processes to improve system understanding and facilitate knowledge transferCollaborate with Cross-Functional Teams
Partner with IT, operations, and infrastructure teams to align technical solutions with business needs.Work closely with team members to identify improvements to workflows and systems.Participate in Strategic Projects
Contribute to high-priority projects like redesigning customer-facing databases or supporting ongoing database migration and optimization initiatives.Help integrate IT systems and databases into larger business frameworks, such as Workday, to streamline operations.Stay informed about advancements in AI/ML and explore use cases within the Microsoft Stack that could benefit the organization.Other duties as assigned.
About You
Must Haves:
Education: Bachelor’s degreeExperience: Minimum 3 years of experience in ETL development, integration management, or similar roles.Nice to Haves:
Education: Advanced degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.Experience: 5+ years of experience in ETL, data integration, and data optimization.Your Skills:
Expertise in Azure Data Factory and SQL Server (including T-SQL).Expertise with Power BI for reporting and dashboarding.Proficiency in building and maintaining APIs.Experience with GitHub for version control.Experience with DBForgeExperience with Azure DevOps is a plus.Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to independently troubleshoot and resolve issues.Excellent collaboration and communication skills to engage with technical and non-technical stakeholders.Attention to detail for maintaining accurate and complete documentation.This Role Would Not Be a Good Fit If:

This is a remote position, offering flexibility to work from your home office. Standard office equipment will be provided to work in the office and at home – a dedicated space at home to work is required. Uninterrupted home-based internet is a must in your home to attend and host video calls, along with a minimum bandwidth speed of 20 mbps. If you do not have an in-home office space or cannot meet the internet needs, an office space will be provided for you in the company’s Stow, Ohio office.
