Job DescriptionU.S. Bank is seeking a proficient ETL Architect with data architecture experience to contribute toward the success of our technology initiatives. Leads and consults on the design, development, and implementation of the architecture and metadata repository for extraction, transformation, and load (ETL) solutions. Provides technical consulting to development teams during design and development for highly complex or critical projects. Identifies opportunities for new initiatives. Recommends changes to increase scalability and robustness of ETL platforms and solutions. Defines policies and best practices for ETL data manipulation functions. Evaluates new tools and techniques and makes recommendations to improve real-time and batch data access, transformation and movement across heterogeneous technologies and platforms. Determines organizational strategies for data integrity validation processes, optimizing data throughput/accessibility, restart ability, and error-handling for tools to deliver ETL solutions.

Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experienceAt least 6 years experience with design, development, automation, and support of applications to extract, transform, and load data.At least 9 years experience within a total information technology (IT) environment.Preferred Skills/Experience
Extensive experience in: Query, database access tools and Data movement using IBM DataStage, Informatica PowerCenter and PowerExchangeHands on working experience in Records management and archivingHands on experience in : Modeling: (data, process, events, objects), Data warehousing Application development tools, Relational databases and Application design and architectureExtensive experience in: Query, database access tools and Data movement using DB2 mainframe and UDB databasesKnowledge of Linux servers and Autosys for job scheduling.Knowledgeable on Relational databases and System testingTechnical troubleshooting expertiseExpert in Database design (Physical), Data warehousing, Application testing, System testing, Implementation and Application development toolsSubject matter expert in Data movement toolsLocation Expectations
The role offers a hybrid/flexible schedule, which means there's an in-office expectation of 3 or more days per week and the flexibility to work outside the office location for the other days.

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $120,700.00 - $142,000.00 - $156,200.00U.S. Bank will consider qualified applicants with arrest or conviction records for employment.
