Position Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled ETL Tester to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise in SQL, test automation, and continuous integration/deployment tools. This role requires a proactive individual who can manage test environments, perform user acceptance testing (UAT), and develop comprehensive test plans and strategies.

This is a hybrid role expecting you to be in office 3 times a week - subjected to change anytime.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

Roles and Responsibilities:
• Conduct thorough testing of ETL processes to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
• Develop, execute, and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
• Perform data validation and verification using SQL queries and stored procedures.
• Identify, document, and track defects and issues, ensuring timely resolution.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and provide feedback.
• Analyze complex data sets and provide insights to improve data quality and performance.
• Participate in code reviews and provide recommendations for improvements.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

Qualifications:
• Minimum of 5 years of testing experience, with at least 3 years in ETL testing.
• Proficient in SQL queries and stored procedures, with developer-level skills.
• Ability to manage and optimize large SQL queries.
• Strong analytical skills and experience in the banking domain.
• Knowledge of data automation tools and techniques is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Must Have Skills:
• Proficiency in SQL or any database querying language.
• Knowledge of test automation frameworks.
• Familiarity with GitHub, Jenkins, and Robot Framework.
• Experience in performing UAT.
• Strong understanding of test environments.
• Familiarity with deployment tools.
• Solid understanding of test planning and strategizing.

Good to Have Skills:
• Knowledge of data layers.
• Understanding of regulatory reporting and data sourcing processes.
