GovCIO is currently hiring for Software Test Engineer to support our client’s contract needs. This position is located in the Washington, DC and will be a hybrid remote position.

Required Skills and Experience
5+ years of experience in the Testing/QA/QE field with a passion for quality
3+ year experience working in an Agile environmentExcellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to clearly communicate and articulate to stakeholders and management across multiple business functionsExperience Data Warehousing and/or ETLExtremely detail oriented with a self-starter personalityProven history of successfully coordinating and executing all aspects of testing efforts from project inception to post launchAbility to understand business needs and translate them into test cases and test scenariosExpertise in various forms of software testing: functional and non-functional testing – Integration, System, Regression, and End to End testingStrong SQL skills with experience in Database testingExperience with Agile methodologies (Scrum and Kanban) and frequent release cycles is a mustExperience with Atlassian Tools (JIRA & Confluence) is requiredClearance Required: Must be able to obtain and maintain Public Trust
Preferred Skills and Experience
Agile Scrum Master certificationExperience with automated testing tools such as Selenium

Posted Pay Range
The posted pay range, if referenced, reflects the range expected for this position at the commencement of employment, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, education, experience, and internal equity. The total compensation package for this position may also include other compensation elements, to be discussed during the hiring process.
