ETRM Data Engineer Business Intelligence

You'll contribute to data gathering, storage, and both batch and real-time processing. Collaborating closely with diverse teams, you'll play an important role in deciding the most suitable data management systems and identifying the crucial data required for insightful analysis. As a Data Engineer, you'll tackle obstacles related to database integration and untangle complex, unstructured data sets. In this role, your responsibilities may include: * TRM Data model - Commodity trading and deal lifecycle * Designing and implementing ETRM Business processes (End of Day, Intra Day, Contract initiation, closeout, invoicing, Marks etc) * Data modeling and mapping tasks for migration. * Building information modeling for integration tasks **Required technical and professional expertise** * Approximately 5 years of experience working on Openlink/ION Endur ETRM (Energy Trading and Risk Management) projects. * Proficient in writing functional, integration, and user acceptance test cases based on design specifications. * Hands-on experience in executing test cases and validating results. * Strong understanding of various modules within the Endur platform. * Expertise in navigating and performing tasks across different screens within the application. * Demonstrated experience in testing within one of the following domains: Natural Gas, Power, or Crude/Refined Products. * In-depth understanding of the deal life cycle from front to back office. * Strong communication and interpersonal skills. This role requires individuals who are highly detail-oriented, with a deep knowledge of the ETRM system and its functionalities. **Preferred technical and professional experience** * Ability to communicate with internal and external clients to understand and define business needs, providing analytical solutions * Ability to ask business and industry questions to identify appropriate modeling techniques * Ability to communicate results to technical and non-technical audiences
