**The Opportunity:**
CACI is looking for an Operational Manager to support our customer to provide a common set of required EIT services across 187 bases to implement a consistent, high-quality experience for users across all mission environments and enable USAF to transition focus from network operations to mission operations.
We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Operations Manager with a strong technical background in system and network engineering to lead our Command and Control team. As a seasoned operations manager, you will be responsible for overseeing a 24/7 team of approximately 20+ Network Engineers and Security Analysts, providing strategic guidance and technical expertise to ensure the smooth operation of our critical infrastructure. The successful candidate will have a strong background in emergency management, crisis management, and operations management, with excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
**Responsibilities:**
+ Provide oversight and direction to the 24/7 Command-and-Control team, ensuring effective management of major incidents, problem management, event management, and crisis management.
+ Provide technical leadership and oversight to the Command and Control team, ensuring that all operations are aligned with industry best practices and organizational goals.
+ Provide subject matter expertise to the engineering teams to design, implement, and maintain network and system architectures, including continuous monitoring capabilities and solutions.
+ Develop, implement, and enforce incident management plans, procedures, and protocols to ensure timely and effective response to major incidents.
+ Identify, analyze, and resolve problems that impact the organization, ensuring minimal disruption to operations and services.
+ Oversee the detection, assessment, and response to events triggered by failed services, captured by monitoring tools, such as:
+ Network and system outages
+ Application failures
+ Security breaches
+ Other service disruptions
+ Ensure effective event management processes are in place to minimize impact and restore services quickly.
+ Maintain 24/7 situational awareness of ongoing incidents, problems, and events, providing timely and accurate information to support decision-making.
+ Provide expert advice and guidance to support decision-making, ensuring that decisions are informed, timely, and effective.
+ Develop, implement, and enforce crisis management plans, procedures, and protocols to ensure effective response to crises, minimizing impact on the organization and its stakeholders.
+ Lead, motivate, and develop a team of operations professionals, ensuring they have the necessary skills, training, and resources to perform their duties effectively.
+ Plan, coordinate, and execute events, such as drills, exercises, and training sessions, to ensure operational readiness and preparedness for major incidents, crises and/or outages.
+ Manage Panama shift schedule to ensure shifts are appropriately staffed to support incident response, problem management, and event management.
+ Develop, implement, and enforce effective communication strategies to ensure situational awareness, provide updates, and coordinate with stakeholders, including internal teams, external partners, and the public.
+ Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in network and system engineering, including continuous monitoring capabilities to ensure the organization remains competitive and secure.
**Qualifications:**
_Required:_
+ Ability to support, oversee, and lead a team of Watch Officers, Network Engineers, Security Analyst and other support staff as assigned.
+ Active DoD Secret clearance.
+ Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Cyber Security, or related field, and 10+ Years of relevant experience
+ 5+ years of leadership experience.
+ Ability to provide clear, concise briefings and reports to senior-level executives and staff.
+ Thorough understanding for Open System Interconnect and TCP/IP network models

**Pay Range** : There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:
$109,800 - $241,600
