Your role and responsibilities

•\tResponsible for due diligence, investigating local requirements and criteria, verifying client-provided information is accurate.•\tCAD design/drafting.•\tDemonstrate an understanding of EVSE standards.•\tDemonstrate an understanding of fundamentals of civil design. •\tDemonstrate an understanding of ADA compliance and codes requirements.•\tDemonstrate an understanding of water quality and SWPPP plans.•\tProficient in Grading.•\tGIS knowledge. •\tAbility to support the Project Managers and other team members as necessary to produce the project.•\tUnder the direction and supervision of other Engineers, be able to prepare EV infrastructure layouts to include consideration of ADA compliance, code requirement, and drainage and Utility plans for land development and infrastructure projects.•\tResponsible for plan production and accurate implementation of specific EVSE standards.•\tTrains Staff Engineers or other Project Engineers on design software, calculations, and design concepts.•\tAssist with applications for all necessary regulatory permits.•\tAssist with the preparation of calculations and reports relating to project submittals.•\tHelp the team manage project schedules to achieve project milestones and deliverable work products.•\tProvide assistance with project bidding and construction administration phases.•\tWork cooperatively with project teams.•\tAbility to independently solve problems.•\tResponsible for checking work as well as other engineers’ designs and calculations, to ensure alignment to quality assurance and control requirements.•\tActively participates in and contributes to department and project team meetings and discussions.•\tCollaborate with the project manager and others to develop and implement design strategies.•\tAssist with project management duties, as requested and needed.

Qualifications for the role

\tYou have obtained an Engineering degree from an accredited school or university.\tPE Stamp o\tPreferrable states license: CA, TX, FL, NVo\tAdditional states license: PA, KY, OR, WA, VA\t5+ years of experience working as a Civil Engineer in the EV/Renewable space.\tStrong software skills including Civil 3D, AutoCAD, Vehicle Tracking, Bluebeam, Excel, and Nearmaps\tMust be able to pass a criminal background check and a drug screening
