What You Will Do:

Guidehouse is seeking an Evaluation Analyst to join our Defense and Security Segment, where the individual will collect and analyze data about program activities, experimental/quasi-experimental design, surveys, qualitative research, and data analytics in support of organizational and mission goals, and support decision-making for large-scale programs within the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Leading design and development of data collection tools

Leading evaluation planning, experimental design, and survey development

Leading design and development of data visualization and dashboard solutions to provide required analytics insights using tools such as Tableau, Power BI, and/or Qlik

Developing and reviewing scripts for data cleansing and analysis using tools such as R and Python

Identifying and creating additional data visualization capabilities, as needed

Conduct analyses using advanced statistical methods

Ensuring data governance and quality assurance standards are met

Analyzing current process and identifying potential improvements

Working with team members to summarize and report on business process improvements to include gaps in current processes and initiatives to improve processes for an organization

Organizing and leading client meetings, including scheduling meetings; drafting and delivering agendas and meeting minutes; providing and archiving required documentation; and documenting, tracking, and following-up on action items

Summarizing and presenting information and reports to the team and make recommendations (both oral and written).

What You Will Need:

U.S. Citizenship and the ability to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a DHS Public Trust

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Social Sciences, or a similar field.

7 (SEVEN) or more years of study design, statistics, evaluation, or other relevant experience; Master's degree may be used in lieu of 2 (TWO) years of experience.

What Would Be Nice To Have:

Law enforcement experience

Experience leading teams focused on evaluation studies

Experience designing and implementing evaluation research projects to include identifying the problem statement or research question, designing logic models and outcomes, implementing the program, and gathering data, assessing outcomes and making recommendations related to viability and effectiveness of the program

Experience with advanced statistics

Excellent organizational, prioritization, and time management abilities, with a keen eye for detail

Experience developing new and re-designing existing processes to meet new and/or evolving business requirements

Ability to provide guidance and direction for specific projects or sub-tasks

Capability to manage multi-task projects

Experience analyzing and defining system requirements

Ability to facilitate meetings and present topics to diverse groups of functional and technical staff

Ability to work independently with minimal direction

Ability to anticipate and respond to management and client needs

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of staff within an organization
