Job Summary: The Evaluation Coordinator is responsible for ensuring all evaluation reports are received in a timely manner and submitted to the appropriate individuals. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: + Ensure all evaluations are scheduled within a timely manner + Process reports and required documents as received. + Conducts data entry and documents all activities + Works with various departments to ensure timely payment for all evaluators. + Submits all completed evaluation packets to the appropriate individuals. + Ensures all EI families receive a follow-up call from the evaluation team within the expected timeline + Works efficiently to meet departmental goals and compliance deadlines + Utilizes various programs and databases to monitor evaluation cases efficiently. + Follow up with families, school districts, and pediatrician’s offices to obtain medical forms + Assists with staffing received referrals as needed + Provide coverage within the department as needed + Other duties as assigned by manager Our Mission: We believe that all children have potential. Qualifications and Other Requirements: + Spanish speaking preferred; not required + Excellent customer service skills + Excellent computer skills, knowledge of MS Office and Outlook + Experience working in a fast-paced environment in related area Physical Requirements of the Role: + Must be able to travel to and from assigned work events including but not limited to driving personal vehicle, walking, and/or use of public transportation such as a bus or train. + Occasionally ascends/descends stairs going to, while at, or leaving work location or facilities traveled to for work events. + Occasionally moving and/or lifting objects at work weighing up to 20 pounds such as files or copy paper. + Must be able to remain in a stationary position for prolonged periods of time up to 90% of the work day working on a computer/electronic device. + The ability to observe details at close range (within a few feet of the observer). + The ability to communicate information and ideas so others will understand. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
