SHIFTS AND HOURS
Day Shift 8:00-4:30 Working Monday - Friday Evening shift, 12:30 PM - 9:00 PM working Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week Must be available for an occasional but rare call-in
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Under supervision, assists in all facets of patient care including admission process, orientation, assessment, treatment planning and discharge. Conduct comprehensive psychosocial and chemical use assessment on each assigned patient Make a determination on appropriate level of care for each patient (inpatient vs. outpatient) Develop measurable treatment plans based on assessments Conduct group or individual counseling sessions with patients and significant others, as needed
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/LICENSES
High school graduate with college preferred One year experience in the substance abuse fieldSouth Dakota Certified Chemical Dependency Counselor CCDC Level I (minimum)
