GALLERYone Doubletree Suites by Hilton is looking to welcome an Evening Manager to join the team!

Our hotel is on the intracoastal waterway, less than a five-minute walk from Galleria Fort Lauderdale.  We have 231 rooms, our VUE PATIO BAR & GRILL, which is outdoor; poolside and if it rains, we have our GALLERY lounge, which is open from 5:00pm-11:00pm nightly. Join us at VUE on the water, for a contemporary cuisine from the hours of 6:30am-10:00pm.

The ideal candidate will have at least 2+ years of hotel management experience. Proven ability to coach and counsel a team of 7+ employees. Passionate about employee development and engagement. Experience in HotSOS preferred.

Shift Pattern: Full Evening availability for shifts that start as early 3pm and end as late as 2am throughout the week.

What will I be doing?

\n

\n

As an Evening Manager, you would be responsible overseeing hotel operations in the absence of the General Manager in the hotel’s continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

\n\nOversee all hotel operations to include, but not limited to, guest service and registration (check-in/check-out), staffing, room inventory and availability, guest service standards and initiatives, product quality, cost controls and overall profitability, systems use and management, department management and policy and procedure implementation and enforcement\nMeet and greet guests and respond to guest inquiries, requests and issues in a timely, friendly and efficient manner and resolve guest concerns\nCommunicate with and ensure team members have current knowledge of hotel products, services, facilities, events, pricing and policies and knowledge of the local area and events\nAssist in operational areas as needed (i.e. serve as bellperson, cover breaks, etc.)\nPatrol the hotel and the property to observe service and quality levels and safety and security status to address any issues or concerns\nMonitor and assess service and satisfaction trends (SALT, Revinate, etc.), evaluate and address issues and make improvements accordingly\nComplete and review reports\nEnsure compliance with Company standards\nEnsure Ongoing training for employees \n
