JOB TITLE: Maintenance Mechanic Operator

REPORTS TO: Maintenance Supervisor

DEPARTMENT: 2nd Shift Maintenance

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Must have a good work history and attendance recordMust have a history of safe work practicesMust take or have taken and pass the class ‘C” maintenance testMust be familiar with plant safety policiesWill be required to participate on Hazwoper team. Must pass all required test to qualify for emergency respond team. ( for example…hazwoper training, pulmonary function testing and respirator fit testing)Must demonstrate the following basic electrical skills: How to use a standard volt/ohm meterHow to use an amp probeMust understand and read electrical diagramsMust have troubleshooting skills of 110, 220, 480, (3phase) electrical circuitsMust demonstrate basic welding skills

 

Must purchase an maintain the minimum tools required to work in this positionMust be able to work 7 day rotation scheduleMust have basic knowledge of both first and second processing plant operationsWill perform all other work as directed by maintenance managementMust obey all USDA, HACCP, an PLANT rules and regulations including safetyMust have excellent communication skills both written and oral
