Responsibilities

The Evening/Weekend Coordinator is a part-time position responsible for supporting the Program Director and the Cornerstone Leadership Team by supervising evening/weekend programming. The coordinator is responsible for facilitating and planning parent engagement and holiday events alongside the Cornerstone Leadership Team  In addition to the responsibilities above, perform all other duties as assigned  Uses positive approaches when handling difficult situations   Avoids gossip and negative discussions   Remains flexible and adapts to change Serves as a role model for program participants and staff   Abides by the dress code and professionally conduct oneself at all times Participates in in-service training and on-site workshops as required for professional growth and development  Attends external training and workshops at the direction of management Represents the organization both within and outside of the work environment in a manner that promotes the mission, vision and values of the agency  Personally,  adheres to organizational mission, vision and values, in addition to all other agency policies and procedures Plans and implements daily instructional curriculum  Maintains accurate activity and daily attendance records of all program participants.  Assists in providing support to New Activity Specialists Maintains accurate activity and daily attendance records of all program participants Maintains positive communication with parents and staff Assists in monitoring other Cornerstone activities as required by the Program Director Assists in the provision of basic counseling services as needed (peer mediation, self-control, decision-making) Accompanies youth on cultural and recreational field trips  Assumes other duties as needed
