Event Content Manager

Job Description

Seeking an experienced Event Content Manager to play a central role in the planning and execution of the large annual company event, with primary responsibilities in general session and breakout content management. This includes coordinating with speakers, tracking and implementing feedback, managing version control for presentations and supplementary assets, and ensuring all content aligns with event objectives and quality standards. Additional responsibilities will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution and supporting the overall success of the event.

General Session and Breakout Content Management:

Serve as the primary project manager for session deliverables.Coordinate with pre-identified speakers to ensure session objectives, timelines, and content requirements are met.Manage the collection, review, and organization of session materials.Confirm session logistics, audiovisual needs, and presentation materials with speakers.Collaborate with internal stakeholders (Sales, Product, Business Partners, and Marketing) to ensure content readiness and alignment.Ensure general session and breakout content aligns with the event theme and maintains high-quality standards.Track and implement feedback for session content, performing QC to ensure requested changes—such as slide order adjustments or formatting updates—are accurately completed.Manage and maintain version control across all breakout and general session presentations, along with supplementary assets such as videos.

Project Management:

Develop and implement comprehensive project plans and timelines for breakout and general sessions.Lead and coordinate cross-functional program teams, including creative, video, and production resources.Monitor deadlines and proactively follow up with stakeholders to ensure timely completion of deliverables.

Event Support:

Provide additional support for Gold Forum planning and execution, as assigned.Collaborate with other core team members to deliver a seamless and engaging attendee experience.Essential Skills5+ years of experience managing high-profile, content-driven events.Proven expertise in event content management, particularly for large-scale conferences or similar events.Strong project management experience with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Familiarity with production and creative elements, including creating holistic show flows.Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing agenda and thematic development for impactful events.Exceptional organizational and communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with speakers and stakeholders.Expertise in conducting discovery sessions and developing clear communication frameworks.Strong initiative, self-motivation, and relational skills to build connections across departments.High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and virtual meeting platforms.Ability to strategically oversee event timelines and deliverables with minimal supervision.Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving.Additional Skills & QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Event Management, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.Financial services industry experience is a plus.Proven track record of planning and executing large-scale events as an event lead.Work Environment

Hybrid work environment: work from home on Mondays and Fridays, and in-office work in Concord, CA, from Tuesday to Thursday. Full-time position, Monday to Friday.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $75.00 - $85.00
