Event Coordinator
Job Title: Event Coordinator Job Description We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Event Coordinator to plan and execute our corporate event strategy. This role involves organizing trade shows, dealer shows, webinars, virtual events, photo shoots, and other marketing events. The Event Coordinator will maintain a library of branded product literature and marketing materials, ensuring consistent brand representation and messaging. You will be the main point of contact for coordinating, managing onsite execution, and wrapping up events. Responsibilities + Support the organization's appearance at both in-person and virtual events in collaboration with involved associates. + Coordinate webinars and virtual events with the Product Management team and vendors. + Evaluate the effectiveness of lead-generating events through ROI and lead follow-up analysis. + Suggest, evaluate, and maintain branded clothing and event giveaway inventory. + Own and foster relationships with event vendors. + Keep costs contained by negotiating the best prices, monitoring expenses, and staying within budget. + Assist in the preparation of marketing materials for digital and physical distribution, including trade shows and events. + Coordinate the ordering and shipping of demonstration equipment. + Provide departmental assistance in developing and maintaining corporate literature, including communication with print suppliers and related expenses. + Maintain storage and inventory of printed brochures and catalogs for trade show and dealer distribution. + Collaborate with engineering and product management on marketing materials. Essential Skills + Proficient in Microsoft Office software including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. + Experience with Adobe Suite software. + Experience using Macintosh computers. + Effective verbal and written communication skills. + Mathematical aptitude. + Skills in editing, technical writing, and creative writing. + Excellent grammar and proofreading skills. + Organizational skills, project management, negotiation skills, and time management skills. + Ability to legally drive a vehicle and travel as needed. + Ability to present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, or customers. + Ability to read, analyze, and interpret professional journals and general business periodicals. + Customer service orientation. + Event planning and trade show experience. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university in Marketing or a related field preferred; or three to five years of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
