Key Responsibilities: + Coordinate all aspects of event planning, execution, and post-event follow-up for a variety of events, including virtual and in-person gatherings, fundraisers, and community outreach programs. + Serve as the main point of contact for event logistics, communicating with vendors, donors, partners, and internal teams to ensure a seamless event experience. + Assist in developing event strategies that align with the organization’s goals, including attendee engagement and fundraising outcomes. + Manage event budgets, ensuring cost efficiency while maintaining high-quality experiences. + Source and manage venues, catering, entertainment, and other necessary services to optimize event logistics. + Coordinate registration processes, including ticketing platforms and attendee tracking, and troubleshoot any issues that arise during the event lifecycle. + Oversee volunteer coordination and provide clear directives for event-day roles and responsibilities. + Collaborate with the marketing and communications team to develop promotional materials and campaigns to enhance event attendance. + Conduct post-event evaluations to assess successes and areas for improvement and prepare detailed reports for leadership and stakeholders. Requirements What We’re Looking For: + A passion for nonprofit work, healthcare advocacy, and a commitment to advancing public health. + 2+ years of experience in event planning, preferably within the nonprofit or healthcare sectors. + Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple events and deadlines simultaneously. + Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, with a proven ability to build rapport with diverse stakeholders. + Strong problem-solving skills and a calm, flexible approach to addressing last-minute changes or unexpected challenges. + Proficiency in event management and collaboration tools (e.g., Eventbrite, Cvent, Zoom, Slack, Microsoft Office Suite). + Familiarity with fundraising platforms and donor engagement strategies is a plus. + Availability to travel and work evenings or weekends as required for events.
