Event Coordinator
Our Client, a Food Product Manufacturer company, is looking for an Event Coordinator for their Henderson, NV/ Hybrid location. Responsibilities: + Lead role for on-site tastings, trade events, and holiday on site events. + Build relationships with local hotel & casino concierge to raise awareness of chocolate & wine tastings, event awareness for off strip activities for hotel guest. + Partner with Flagship leadership team on Las Vegas tourism bus schedule, build a relationship to recruit new tourism groups, promote the Store/Event as a destination with tourism groups to drive traffic. + Organize facilities and manage all event’s details such as decor, catering, entertainment, transportation, location, invitee list, special guests, equipment, promotional material, etc. + Meeting with clients to work out event details, plan with clients and their team, scout and book locations, food, entertainment, staff and cleanup. + Prepare presentations and site inspections for prospective clients. + Source and manage vendor relationships + Create detailed timelines, manage event budgets and allocate funds for various aspects of the event needs. + Provide post-event analysis, recapping event success by gathering feedback & any after action review for future events + This role works cross functionally with the Client’s leadership team to plan for and execute events that help to grow the business. + They will build partnerships with businesses, chambers and hospitality professionals to support the marketing of Client’s and Event’s property. + The event coordinator will spend a significant amount of time communicating with clients to identify their needs and + present solutions that support utilization of our brands and properties. Requirements: + Minimum two years' experience with event management and/or hospitality experience + Knowledge of the Las Vegas special events market & convention calendar + Computer skills including MS Word, Excel, PPT, Outlook & Monday.
