**Adecco is hiring an Event Manager in Charleston, SC** **Pay Rate:** $25/hr **Location:** Charleston, SC **Dates:** November 18, 2024 - January 3, 2025 Are you ready to lead an exciting seasonal event and create a memorable experience for the community? We’re looking for an organized, proactive, and enthusiastic Manager to oversee a public ice-skating event that will be open Thursdays through Sundays until the end of December. **Key Responsibilities:** + **Facility Management:** Open and close the venue from Thursday to Sunday, ensuring smooth daily operations. + **Staff Scheduling & Oversight:** Coordinate schedules and manage event staff to maintain a high level of service and efficiency. + **Guest Services:** Set up and supervise the check-in area, monitor patron conduct on the rink, and manage session times. + **Sales & Inventory Management:** Review sales reports, prepare wristbands for each session, and manage fire pit supplies. + **Vendor Coordination:** Oversee onsite vendors, including DJs and event coordinators, to provide an engaging atmosphere. + **Waiver Processing:** Provide and securely store digital waivers for all guests each day. **Event Schedule:** This event will be open to the public starting Friday, November 29, and will run through Sunday, December 29. **Typical Weekly Hours:** + **Wednesday:** Admin as needed + **Thursday:** 3 PM - 10 PM + **Friday:** 9 AM - 10 PM + **Saturday:** 8 AM - 10 PM + **Sunday:** 10 AM - 6 PM + **OT AVAILABLE FOR SPECIAL EVENTS** If you’re excited to help bring this event to life and create a fun, safe experience for everyone, we’d love to hear from you! **Pay Details:** $25.00 per hour Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
