**The Position**
**Event Manager**
The Event manager leads the Human Pharma (HP) Event Team in:
+ Implementing face-to-face and digital activities to maximize customer engagement and achieve Market Leadership in the TherapeuticArea (TA) segments we compete in.
+ Providing support and consultancy to the OPU TA marketing team (CRM and Specialty Care) in the planning and execution of the Integrated Campaign Plan (ICP), implementation of the Go-To-Market (GTM) approach.
This role leads, manages and develops Event Executives directly reporting to the Event manager across TAs in the OPU. If applicable, lead, manage and develop external Event Administrators.
**Tasks & responsibilities:**
1. **ICP planning:**
+ Partner with the TA to provide necessary inputs for IAP/ ICP, based on gathered insights of conducted events
1. **Event-related processes standardization:**
+ Creates standardized processes to efficiently plan and execute activities consistently across TAs with key internal stakeholders (Medical, Marketing, GTM, Compliance, Market Access, Sourcing, etc.)
+ Optimizes and innovates processes, through reoccurring review, analysis of conducted activities across functions, data-based insights and facilitates proposals for improvement
1. **Event execution:**
+ Provide and ensure efficient support on standardized processes for development and execution of events (CRM and Specialty)
+ Based on data analysis of conducted activities, the Event manager provides optimization suggestion of existing marketing services, adapts and implements new services and drive the data-based creation of insights for improved customer engagement
1. **Executional performance analysis:**
+ Together with key stakeholders, identify events-related KPIs and provide relevant analysis/ recommendation to TAs/ management team through utilizing existing ROPU dashboard and/ or customizing Veeva reports
1. **Team development:**
+ Lead, train and develop an effective Event management team committed to delivering quality execution in a compliant and timely manner
+ Provide clarity on the goals and objectives to be achieved by the team
+ Develops skills and abilities through ongoing knowledge sharing, feedback, coaching and development opportunities
+ Oversee and drive overall performance management and talent management of the team
**Requirements:**
**Knowledge:**
+ Good understanding of pharmaceutical industry and trend of environmental changes
+ Good knowledge and/or experience with strategic frameworks, marketing and execution

+ Capable to provide the leadership to develop and implement solutions to complex problems
+ Open minded, motivating personality with drive and initiative
+ Willingness and ability to create and share knowledge
+ Critical thinker with ability to self-manage workload, including reprioritizing and delivery under tight timelines
+ Ability to work well under pressure, influence without authority, good interpersonal and negotiation skills
+ Team player, flexible and willingness to adapt in a changing environment
+ Excellent oral and written communications skills.
**Minimum Education / Degree Requirements** : Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Economics or a related field.
