Event Manager
Description Robert Half's client is seeking an Event Marketing Manager located in the San Francisco Bay Area for a 6-month contract employment opportunity. In this role, you'll be tasked with creating engaging and inspiring events for a range of audiences, including clients, prospects, partners, and employees. You'll be expected to handle event logistics, collaborate with partners, and maintain the brand voice throughout all events. Responsibilities: • Creating distinctive experiences for both virtual and in-person events. • Handling all aspects of event logistics such as venue selection, contract negotiation, guest list management, event registration, and speaker recruitment. • Overseeing vendor management, branding, event production, and programming for events with significant attendance. • Constructing project plans, budgets, and event metrics, including tracking and measurement. • Working closely with key partners to ensure events align with the shared goals of building and accelerating pipeline, advancing deals, expanding existing customer share, and community building. • Keeping up with industry knowledge and competition to identify potential partnerships and new opportunities. • Upholding the brand and voice through all activations and events. Requirements + 5+ years of experience in event marketing and/or experiential marketing, including virtual events/webinars. + B2B experience. + Experience crafting and producing a wide range of B2B events (including conferences and tradeshows) that have driven measurable results. + B2B event management experience leading proprietary, 3rd party industry, or executive events. + Strong organizational and project management skills to effectively lead multiple partners and projects with tight deadlines. + Success in developing strong internal and external relationships. + Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and continuously adapt to new challenges and dynamic priorities. + Exceptional client and vendor management skills. + Excellent written and verbal communication skills. + Proficiency in MS Office (specifically advanced Excel and PowerPoint), virtual event platforms, and integrations to track lead generation (Salesforce, HubSpot) and Google Suite Innovation starts with people.® Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
