Position:        Event Network Manager

Department:   Facility Services

Reports To:    General Manager, Facility Services

Summary

The Event Network Manager is responsible for interfacing with clients to facilitate their telecommunications orders and needs.  The Event Network Manager will work closely with the sponsoring organization, its partners, exhibitors, and Facility Services NOC and engineering team to ensure service delivery.

Responsibilities Include (not limited to):

Primary contact for sponsoring organizationsReceive telecom requirements from clientGenerate quote for service based on client requirementsSelling, planning, and detailing all network and telecommunications orders for each eventWork with NOC and Engineering team and local CWA union for strategic planningAct as liaison between Facility Services and clientsStay in communication with client(s) before and during event to ensure all requirements are metAdditional duties as required

Qualifications:

BA Degree preferred or five years with event network management experienceExperience as an Event Network Manager, Event Technical Planner, Telecommunications Manager or Technical Meeting Planner is highly beneficialPossess a strong knowledge of current telecommunications and networking practicesWell-developed interpersonal skills; experience working with a diversity of clients, professionals and staff membersPositive attitude and able to motivate staff and offer hospitality services which exceeds guest’s expectationsStrong written and oral communications skillsOrganized, able to prioritize and have strong time management skillsAble to multitask in a fast-paced environmentAble to work flexible schedule including weekends and holidaysWorking knowledge of Microsoft Office / Microsoft 365

Salary Range: $100,000-$110,000
