Compensation includes a base salary of $59,600.00 - $89,400.00. The base salary may vary within the anticipated base pay range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, and abilities. JOB SUMMARY:
As an Event Reporting Specialist on the Commercial Brand team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and optimizing the company’s strategic events and sponsorship initiatives. In this role, you will provide planning, coordination and support for customer, industry, partnership, sponsorship, employee and other marketing-related events. You will help develop plans, arrange venues, coordinate and organize attendance, develop event programs and serve as liaison for relevant partnerships. You will Ensure effective event marketing and project management, keeping stakeholders informed of event planning progress.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Event Strategy & Reporting: Gain familiarity with Events & Campaign Marketing concepts and collaborate with the team to provide actionable insights into event success, brand evolution, partner influence, and audience engagement.Data Collection & Analysis: Gather data on event invitations, RSVPs, attendance, attendee engagement, and post-event activities, sponsorship asset use and outcomes, and ticketing use efficiency.Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with Event Managers and Specialists to gather real-time data during events. Ensure accurate, comprehensive data is collected to assess the effectiveness of the events and sponsorships.ROI & Performance Tracking: Identify opportunities for optimization and provide recommendations for improving future event performance.Strategic Recommendations: Help shape the strategic pillars of evolving the brand, selecting the right partners with influence, and reaching the right audience of B2B buyers.Customer Focus: Understand customer needs to ensure data insights provide a customer centric view of event value, attendance to future Cox events, and engagement.Event Execution: Assist with event leads in planning various events, update and maintain events master calendar, and prepare reporting needs prior to event work begins. May be required to travel and support events directly on-site.Budget Tracking: Assists in tracking costs and managing event budgets.Strives for Excellence: Establish criteria and/or work procedures to achieve a high level of quality, productivity and service. Dedicate required time and energy to assignments or tasks to ensure that no aspect of the work is neglected. Accept responsibility for outcomes (positive or negative) with an eye toward continual improvement.Perform other duties as requestedQUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
Minimum
BA/BS degree in related discipline (i.e. Marketing, Business, etc.) with generally less than 2 years of experience required in a related field (i.e. Marketing, Sales, Sales Operations, etc.), OR 4 years of equivalent experience in lieu of a degree.Requires strong knowledge tools and/or applications such as MS Office 365 including TEAMs,, SPSS, SAS, SalesForce, TicketManager, etc.Excellent soft skills such as: interpersonal, leadership, presentation, and collaborative skills to work effectively with teams throughout organization.Preferred
BA/BS degree + up to 2 years of experience preferred in related discipline (i.e. Marketing, Business, Communications, etc.)Experience in technology, telecommunications desired.Benefits
