Join Benzingas growing events teamThis is an exciting opportunity for the right person to become instrumental in the expansion of Benzingas events business The BZ events team is responsible for some of the most impactful events in finance such as the Benzinga Global Fintech Awards the Cannabis Capital Conference series and new programming in ESports and SmallCap stocksWe are looking to add a new member to assist the events team in developing high level relationshipsThe ideal candidate is someone who is driven to succeed and can be a self starter building a business from the group upWhat youll be doingGenerating leads through constant research and high level industry awarenessProspecting selling maintaining and tracking conference sponsors and exhibitorsCold calling and emailing potential clientsDeveloping managing and measuring sales techniques to attract sponsorsResponding to inbound sponsorship inquiriesAssisting in coordination and delivery of sponsorships and exhibitorsOther tasks as requiredStuff you need to get this gigPassionate about high level selling and dealmaking to decision makersPrior sponsorship sales experience a must At least years of previous sales experience ie sponsorships ad sales or ticketsAn understanding andor passion for the financial industryMust be self motivated and able to execute in a variety of situationsExisting corporate contacts a plusMust be well organized creative thinker with strong communication skillsProficient in MS Office and Google DocsMust be a team player and be able to operate in a fast paced environment
