The Guest Services Associate at Woodward West is responsible for all aspects of guest services. Woodward West provides services for over 3,000 campers and 400+ staff each summer along with varying events throughout the year. The Guest Services Associate will collaborate with a team within guest services and transportation, be a part of a team that manages the camp operating software and maintain a focus on enhancing the guest experience. The Guest Services Associate will ensure that our guests, staff, and campers are being met in a prompt, appropriate and high touch manner.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Guest Services Associate will excel at giving support and communicating effectively to campers and parents using In-Person, Phone, and Email communication.
Provide support and troubleshooting in a timely manner to phone and email inquiries.
They will lead by example to guests and staff, creating a positive and inspiring environment. Provide general knowledge to understand camp operations.
Meet needs of guests, campers, and staff with effective communication, software training and business knowledge
Collaborate with Guest Services Leadership
Work with all departments as communication deems necessary - Programming, Rec, Medical, Housing, Transportation, etc.
Provide a warm and welcome atmosphere for all guests - VIPs, campers, and staff
Extensive knowledge in our camp system software
Other duties as assigned
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE/SPECIAL SKILLS:
High school degree or equivalent preferred
Working knowledge of Microsoft Suite, comfortable presenting and deploying new technologies
Demonstrate broad technical knowledge of management techniques
Ability to project manage and prioritize multiple tasks at the same time
Strong interpersonal skills. Able to interact effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization.
BASIC SCHEDULE/REQUIREMENTS:
Must successfully-pass a background screening to ensure suitability of contact with minor children and the public, in accordance with Federal, state and local jurisdictions.
FBI and DOJ finger printing required
Dedicated to being prompt and timely
Physical Capabilities: bend, twist, push, pull, stand, lift 25lbs.
Adhere to all workplace safety practices, expectations, and guidelines
Must be comfortable working in an outdoor all-season environment.
