Job Title: Event Staff (On Call)

Department: Food & Beverage

Reports To: Food & Beverage Supervisor

FLSA Status: Non-exempt

Summary

Provides exceptional guest experience by assisting with events. May work in the Event Center, Carlino's, Obsidian Spirits Amphitheater, or assisting with Casino floor events for concerts, banquets, conferences, or promotions. Must be able to commit to a minimum of 1 event per 2-week period. 

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

Provide constant, attentive, and friendly service to guests

Monitor main entrance to ensure proper admission. (Verify tickets, stamp hands and apply wristbands)

Assists guests in locating assigned seats

Serve and refill complimentary beverages to guests

Clear away dirty dishes and glassware from occupied/or unoccupied tables in a timely manner.

Complete all side work in a timely and satisfactory manner to ensure a clean, neat work area with adequate supply level

Maintain a clean and stocked beverage station

Relay any complaints, problems, or positive remarks to the Supervisor

Maintains assigned workstation and section

Monitor entrance doors with restricted access

Assist with crowd control

Direct traffic to authorized parking areas

Assist with set-up/clean-up of events

Must always perform all duties in a safe manner to oneself and all cast members and guests

Must be able to report unsafe situations to the Supervisor

Hepatitis B shot is suggested

Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

 

Education and/or Experience

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred and/or one to three months related experience and/or training. Candidate must be at least 21 years of age. Must possess excellent customer service skills.

 

Language Skills

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to patrons, and other employees of the organization.

 

Mathematical Skills

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals

 

Reasoning Ability

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form

 

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

Gaming license issued by the Paskenta Gaming Commission
