POSITION: Event Staff DEPARTMENT: Event Services REPORTS TO: Guest Services Supervisor / Event Manager FLSA STATUS: Hourly/Non-Exempt – Seasonal Part-time Hourly Rate: $18.60 Summary Legends/ASM, the leader in privately managed public assembly facilities, has an excellent and immediate opening for Event Staff at The Greek Theatre. Under direct supervision, Event Staff are responsible for greeting and supporting guests with outstanding customer service; providing solutions when issues arise. Essential Duties and Responsibilities + Receive all guests with outstanding and friendly customer service. + Be knowledgeable of the facility and provide guest and client assistance as needed. + Support ticket taking operations and ingress procedures during events and ancillary activations. + Monitor area as assigned, maintaining cleanliness, and reporting any spills or hazardous materials to supervisors. + Accommodate guests with disabilities in compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act. + Stay informed and assist all patrons, clients, and vendors with directional and informational inquiries. + Effectively communicate and document escalated customer issues to Supervisors and Management. + Properly storing event equipment away each night to maintain integrity of event apparatus. + Assist Supervisors and Management as needed in a timely and efficient manner. + All other duties and responsibilities as assigned. High school diploma or GED, and at least six (6) months customer service experience preferred. Skills and Abilities + Must be able to work in a fast-paced, diverse environment. + Possess strong verbal & interpersonal communications. + Follow oral and written instructions and communicate effectively with others under pressure. + Remain flexible and adjust to situations as they occur. + Must be able to work irregular hours including nights, weekend and holidays as needed. + Must be able to stand and/or walk for hours at a time. + Ability to deal tactfully in stressful situations and stay calm under pressure. + Must have professional presentation, appearance, and work ethic. + Employees must be fluent in English; multilingual candidates are a plus!
