Our client is seeking six temps to assist with a large sporting event/convention in San Francisco, CA. There are multiple roles/responsibilities to be covered throughout the event including using a register/point of sale, customer care, stocking, selling, promoting, and cleaning. Compensation is $20/hour.

Dates and times needed:

February 13th: Training, 12:30 PM - 4 PM (Show starts at 2 PM)February 14th: 11:30 AM - 8 PM (Show starts at 12 PM)February 15th: 9:30 AM - 6 PM (Show starts at 10 AM)February 16th: 9:30 AM - 6 PM (Show starts at 10 AM)

Different Roles and Responsibilities:

Stocker - Assist with all products.

Assist with booth deliveries, unload deliveries (600+ boxes a day) and store appropriately in stock roomSorting and organizing inventory, stocking shelves, breaking down cardboard, and taking out garbage cansUtilize best practices for storage, identification, and stock location - considering height and weight limits, turnover, stock room Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of merchandise, using product knowledge in relevant and creative ways to organize stock room by categoryMaintain SAFETY AT ALL TIMES with stacking, box cutters, and movement

Ringer/Packer - Understand P.O.S. equipment, product item, payment, and receipt functions.

Greet customers and provide extraordinary customer serviceComplete Point-Of-Sale transactions.Efficiently bag products and include any promotional products as instructed. Do not damage product packagingBe considerate and work in cooperation with other Ringers to gather and bag productsKeep the countertop clean and free of clutter, trash, etc. Transfer trash to the outside of booth receptacles as instructedEnsure the customer receives a maximum of one per exclusive unless Booth Management makes an announcement otherwiseEnsure the customer receives all the products purchasedCommunicate to the customer that all sales are final before leaving the registerNo trades or returns after purchase

Line Control/Security - maintain order, safety, fire safety guidelines, and provide information to guest inquiries regarding products, times, convention hours, etc.

Maintain the integrity of the line. People will wait for hours. Acknowledge their dedication and loyalty with appreciation and considerationEnsure attendees know when and where to queue for the booth for their timeslotEnsure attendees have the appropriate booth entry documentation, if applicable. One entry per code. No additional guests may enter except for unaccompanied minors All guests may attend after completion of the scheduled entries

All - everyone is expected to do the following in addition to their assigned duties

Help with inventory (unboxing, stocking, collapsing recyclables, organizing, etc.)Keeping the booth clean and organized

Qualifications:
