To organize, plan and oversee the execution of events, activities and programming resort-wide. These responsibilities include; but are not limited to; family activities, themed weekends, seasonal festival and celebrations, resort sponsored promotions, live entertainment, après ski parties, holiday activities, and Group Sales entertainment.
Responsibilities Assists with the development of innovative programs and activities. Coordinates and implements activities for special events, entertainment, and Sales groups. Assists in coordinating all necessary contractual services for activities and special events. To include utilization of Delphi and Resume/BEO development and distribution. Communication of function-arrangement to all responsible hotel departments regarding special events; working closely with the Sales, Banquets and Set-up departments to ensure smooth, properly scheduled events.Coordinate with Finance to ensure vendors are compensated in a timely and appropriate manner. Assist with overall marketing strategy for special events and activities.Coordinate with Marketing to develop collateral and stationary for all events. Communication of function-arrangement to all responsible hotel departments.Coordinate Special Event support services (flowers, entertainment, decoration, A/V, etc.) to ensure complete guest satisfaction.Oversee the service of all events to ensure quality satisfaction of all guests. Ensure that all administrative procedures are being executed in a timely manner. Ensure that all required reports are completed on a timely basis.Work with Sales team to identify new special events offerings for business and wedding groups. Qualifications 3 years relevant experience or an equivalent combination of training, experience, and/or education.Sales and Marketing experience preferred.Prior experience utilizing Delphi preferred.Must have excellent interpersonal skills.Must provide excellent service to internal and external customers.Must have excellent oral and written communication skills.
