We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Marketing Event Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing event programs, coordinating and collaborating with various teams, solving complex problems, managing change and effectively communicating with stakeholders. Working within a team of skilled professionals you will support the process creation and execution of key activities including events, marketing excellence and marketing budgets. This is a great opportunity to join and support a fast-moving customer marketing function within Honeywell’s Energy and Sustainability Solutions (ESS) business.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES 

\n\n\n\tManage the team planning and executing trade shows and on a global basis, in close collaboration with marketing leaders across ESS. \n\tManage event lists with event managers to monitor and control event progress from planning to execution. \n\tManage and execute large-scale internal and customer-facing events in both live and virtual settings. This includes project management, sourcing, contract negotiations, budget management, registration, and various meeting logistics.\n\tOwnership of the Presidents Club event from budget management, planning and execution.  \n\tTrack event performance against established metrics, review event deliverables and manage project budgets. \n\tEnsure that event closure activities, such as documentation, lessons learned and stakeholder transition, are appropriately executed. \n\tWork with various customer marketing leaders to ensure that all event stakeholders are aligned on goals, timelines, expectations and responsibilities. \n\tUtilize data to support overall event marketing strategies including ROI and campaign effectiveness. \n\tOwn the process and manage the resource for the creation of purchase orders for marketing expenditure. \n\tCoordinate with customer marketing, finance and leadership teams to explore opportunities and improve processes. \n\tBuild out customer marketing solutions that will improve processes and automate reports more efficiently. \n\tImplement new processes to the wider customer marketing team. \n\tMonitor and track process adoptions for the events and procurement team. \n\tEffectively communicate process changes, optimization features of new tools and outline expectations of adoption. \n\tTransform standard marketing operations processes to drive efficiency and productivity\n\tManage communications, ensuring that any issues, changes, or required performances that impact projects are documented and addressed with the key team members\n\tExperience working with planning tools (i.e., budget tracking, project timeline, logistics and deliverables schedules, event specs, meeting agendas, and notes, etc.)\n\tTravel required 30%.\n\n\n

YOU MUST HAVE:

\n\n\n\tMinimum of five years working experience in event planning.  \n\tTwo years’ experience in change management and process improvement.\n\tExcellent project management skills\n\tStrong English skills (written and verbal). \n\n\n

PREFERRED:

\n\n\n\tAn associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Events or a related field with 5+ years of experience of event planning.\n\tProficiency in PowerBI, PowerAutomate and PowerApp platforms. \n\tProficiency in Microsoft 365. \n\tExcellent communication and interpersonal skills. \n\tProven experience in project management, coordination and collaboration. \n\tResults oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.\n\tExperience leading and developing a team.\n\tHighly developed organizational skills.\n\tExperience with stakeholder management and communication.\n\tExperience in reporting, analytics and optimization. \n\tB2B experience.  \n\tExcellent business writing and editing skills, including presentations.\n\tAbility to communicate clearly in a global highly matrixed organization.  \n\n\n
