This role will support important activities in the Office of the President, with a focus on events, operations, and special projects. The person in this role will be expected to:

Plan, execute, and staff a variety of events — ranging from leadership retreats to intimate salon dinners and large public events on and off campus.Oversee operational activities, including vendor relationships, finance workflows, resourcing, and logistics.Execute financial transactions, ensure that relevant accounts are reconciled, and serve as the subject matter expert on contract management, procurement, and related University policies, systems, and procedures.Manage special projects in support of the Office’s stewardship and engagement strategies.Establish and monitor timelines to ensure key milestones and objectives are met. Qualifications

Required Education:
Bachelor's Degree

Required Experience:
3+ years of relevant events experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must include experience working with executives and dignitaries.

Preferred Experience:
3+ years Significant experience managing all aspects of producing high-profile events, with a proven record of success in meeting the highest standards of service.

Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Excellent planning and service skills and an ability to interact effectively with internal and external constituents. Superior organizational skills as well as verbal and written communication skills. Confidentiality, discretion, and attention to details are key qualities. Demonstrate a capacity to work in fast-paced environments, as well as an ability to execute high-level events. Must also be able to work flexible hours, including some late nights and weekends.

Additional Information

In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is USD $74,000.00 to USD $90,000.00. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and organizational considerations when extending an offer. This pay range represents base pay only and excludes any additional items such as incentives, bonuses, clinical compensation, or other items.
