The Opportunity

The On-Call Events Coordinator is a unique position at QVC working with the Corporate Events team. We ask that you have a flexible schedule to include nights and weekends and hours will vary. You will provide excellent customer service.

Your Impact

As the On-Call Events Coordinator, you will directly affect the experience of the attendees at events by providing a unique engagement experience.

What you will do

Deliver a brand-right experience at Customer & Team Member Engagement events.Build all preshow logistical support aspects of Live Audience Shows and QVC events. This includes set-up, working with security, coordinating with backstage employees, checking in with vendors, coordinating any show giveaways or special requests, swag bags, and managing meet and greeting with celebrities or QVC talent and guests.Coordinate customer check in process to include, ID verification, release form review, escorting audiences, escorting customers out of the events at the direction of security, handling customer emergencies and handling general questions from the audience.Post Show responsibilities include exiting audience members, clean-up, and final checks.Communicate feedback received from all QVC events.Work with high profile on-air Talent and QVC Senior Leadership, Guests, and Celebrities.Oversee confidential materials.Help with administrative tasks using a computer.

What You Bring

5+ years of Customer Service or on-site event experience.Customer service, organization, and critical thinking skills.Ability to build positive relationships on a team.Flexible work schedule which requires day, nights, and weekend, and travel may be required if the event is offsite. Hours will vary depending on the event schedule.Ability to stand on feet for multiple hours during events.
