We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Global Security Events Manager to join our security operations team, reporting to the Sr. Director of Global Security Operations. In this role, you will lead the planning, coordination, and execution of all security aspects for global corporate events. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the safety and security of attendees, assets, and venues while maintaining seamless event operations. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the security of high-profile events in a fast-paced, global environment.

You will: Develop and implement comprehensive security plans for global corporate events, including risk assessments, emergency response protocols, and incident management strategies. Collaborate with internal collaborators, external partners, and law enforcement agencies to ensure accurate security measures are in place. Manage on-site security personnel and oversee real-time incident response during events. Conduct post-event evaluations to identify successes, areas for improvement, and standard methodologies. Ensure compliance with all local and international security regulations and company policies. Provide regular updates and reports to senior leadership on event security metrics and outcomes. You have: Bachelor’s degree in Security Management, Event Planning, or a related field; advanced degree preferred. 5+ years of experience in security operations, with a focus on event management. Proven experience managing security for large-scale events, 2000 plus, across multiple international locations. Strong understanding of security technologies, risk assessment methodologies, and emergency management procedures. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across diverse teams and cultures. Preferred qualifications: Certifications such as CPP (Certified Protection Professional) or PSP (Physical Security Professional). You are: Diligent and highly organized, with a proactive approach to problem-solving. Calm and decisive under pressure, with exceptional crisis management skills. Adaptable and flexible, thriving in dynamic and fast-paced environments. A great teammate, encouraging trust and cooperation among colleagues. For roles that are based at our headquarters in San Mateo, CA: The starting base pay for this position is as shown below. The actual base pay is dependent upon a variety of job-related factors such as professional background, training, work experience, location, business needs and market demand. Therefore, in some circumstances, the actual salary could fall outside of this expected range. This pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. All full-time employees are also eligible for equity compensation and for benefits.

Annual Salary Range$133,430—$163,640 USD

Roles that are based in our San Mateo, CA Headquarters are in-office Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, with optional in-office on Monday and Friday (unless otherwise noted).
