Events Manager
**Overview** RESPONSIBILITIES + Coordinating special events parking. Oversee supervision of shift leads, traffic controllers, cashiers, and maintenance staff and other personnel engaged in directing traffic and collecting fees. Assist in the scheduling of personnel. + Participate in a variety of duties involved in directing and controlling traffic and access to parking throughout the parking lots to include directing the movement of vehicular traffic and regulating and monitoring vehicle parking. Monitor and correct safety hazards. + Perform SWOPS and review Monthly Safety Talks with personnel. + Oversee issuing of Violations and Skimmer Checks. + Operational activities related to parking lot operations, detailed accounting of revenues and review of related internal control documentation and the maintenance of parking facilities. + Assist in planning and scheduling work for the group, ensuring proper distribution of assignments and adequate manning, space and facilities for the performance of duties. + Assist in training lower-level employees, leads, cashiers, traffic directors and maintenance staff. + Communicate about the facilities operation with management staff and leads on a regular basis. + Monitor operation of control equipment and automatic gates and replace expendable supplies; notify management for other repairs. Perform other related duties incidental to the work described herein. + Coordinate RMAs for equipment upkeep. + Assist with the upkeep of record storage and ticket inventory. + Assist in promotion of facilities. + Performs other related functions, as assigned. REQUIREMENTS + Skills and abilities normally associated with completion of high school or GED equivalency; Preferred 2- or 4-year college degree. + Candidates must multi-task and have strong accounting and cash handling skills as well as proficiency in MS Office. + A valid driver’s license required. + A history of working in the service industry, solid employment record and previous experience cash handling and accounting experience are necessary. + 3 to 4 years experience in retail, parking management, or hospitality.
