**Position Summary:**
The Events Manager is responsible for planning, organizing, and executing a wide range of events, from corporate meetings, virtual sessions, and conferences to social gatherings and large-scale public events for a client portfolio. This role requires exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, creativity, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously. The Events Manager ensures all event logistics run smoothly and deliver an outstanding experience for attendees. This role will manage a small team of coordinators and technicians to support the event calendar of the client. This role will report to the onsite Sr. Facility Manager or FM Site Manager.
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Plan, coordinate, and oversee all aspects of events, from initial concept to post-event evaluation.
+ Collaborate with clients, stakeholders, or internal teams to define event objectives, budget, and expectations.
+ Develop and manage event budgets, ensuring cost-effective decisions and keeping within budget limits.
+ Negotiate with vendors, suppliers, and contractors (e.g., caterers, decorators, AV technicians) to ensure the best prices and quality of service.
+ Secure and manage venues, ensuring all logistics, permits, and requirements are in place.
+ Coordinate event marketing and promotional activities, including social media, email campaigns, and event materials.
+ Manage event timelines, including scheduling and coordinating speakers, entertainers, and other participants.
+ Supervise event staff, volunteers, and suppliers to ensure tasks are completed efficiently.
+ Ensure the highest level of customer service and a positive experience for event attendees.
+ Handle event registration, guest lists, and on-site logistics.
+ Oversee post-event follow-up, including collecting feedback, analyzing event performance, and preparing reports.
+ Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and best practices for events.
**Qualifications:**
+ Bachelor’s degree in event management, hospitality, marketing, business, or related field (preferred).
+ 3-5 years of experience in event planning or event management.
+ Proven experience with organizing events of various sizes and types, both in-person and virtual.
+ Strong project management skills and ability to work under pressure and manage multiple events simultaneously.
+ Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
+ Proficient in event management software, office programs (e.g., MS Office, Google Workspace), and social media platforms.
+ Creative thinking with the ability to problem-solve and make decisions quickly.
+ Strong attention to detail and ability to manage logistics.
+ Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, depending on event schedules.

**Work Environment:** Events Managers often work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The role may require travel to event locations, long hours, and weekend work, especially when events are scheduled. Some remote work or flexible hours may be possible depending on the employer.
