What is the opportunity?
You will be working with the Central Events & Regional Marketing team within the Marketing Department.
The role holder will be responsible for administration and process management across the Client Marketing Team. They will also be involved in coordinating regional marketing requirements and hands-on involvement supporting central and local events.
What will you do?
Keep procedural documents, supplier contracts, team templates, department guides and budget forecasts updated.
Co-ordinate marketing requirements from local offices and support creation of adverts, invitations and brand merchandise.
Arrange team meetings, agenda, minutes and follow up actions.
Collate data from across the team to provide monthly Management reports.
Co-ordinate distribution of digital communications and post event surveys.
Manage invoices and payment processing for all central events and expenses.
Research national event opportunities, venue sourcing, support planning on central events programme and co-ordinate external hospitality tickets.
Hands on support with event delivery for local and large central events and support virtual event programme logistics, production teams and speakers.
Create story boards, images and videos to promote events on RBC intranet.
Responsible for Team inbox and co-ordinate internal and external responses.
Responsible for team event equipment and merchandise including stock control, repairs and transportation.
Assist the Regional & Client Marketing Director with Marketing projects and business initiatives.
What do you need to succeed?
Must-have
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent organisation skills to manage multiple projects concurrently.
Ability to be calm, multitask, proactive self-initiative and perform under pressure.
Meticulous attention to detail, pride of output.
Experience and confidence in Microsoft365 and marketing systems ie Salesforce, Cvent, Teams Live.
Deliver high quality work within a demanding environment.
Genuine team player showing a positive and hands on approach.
Strong work experience in marketing.
Nice-to-have
Marketing degree or similar/equivalent.
Work experience in events.
Virtual event platforms knowledge/experience.
