Events & Social Media Manager

CyraCom, a leading language services provider, is looking for an outgoing and adaptable Events & Social Media Manager. In this role, you will utilize your professional experience to plan and execute internal and external events – serving as the point person for clients, vendors, and employees. You will also manage the Company's multiple social media platforms, and provide written and visual content to the sales, recruiting, account management, and other departments – providing support for corporate sales and interpreter recruiting.

As Events & Social Media Manager, you will:

Plan and execute internal and external events such as roundtables and conferencesWrite and assist in the design of collateral, with authority to approve or reviseDevelop, execute, and analyze digital campaigns and assigned budgetsExercise a high degree of professionalism and self-motivation using personal initiative to identify and recommend best practicesDemonstrates a continued commitment to professional education and industry best practicesThis position may be required to train or manage team membersAll employees are required to perform the following essential functions:  demonstrate predictable, reliable, and timely attendance; follow written and verbal directions and complete assigned tasks on schedule; read, write and communicate in English; communicate in person and by telephone following CyraCom policy; learn from directions, observations, and mistakes; work independently or as part of a team; interact appropriately with others including co-workers, supervisors, and customers; and work with supervision, receiving instructions/feedback, coaching/counseling and corrective action if necessary.

As Events & Social Media Manager, you must have:

5+ years of experience in Marketing, Communications, or Public Relations2+ years of planning, executing, and evaluating internal and external events2+ years of experience planning and managing in-person/virtual eventsAdvance project management skillsAdvanced knowledge of Social Media Marketing, Email Marketing, Marketing Research, and Event CoordinationAdvanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other programs)Knowledge of Adobe Suite or Canva (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Spark, and other programs)Advanced experience negotiating hotel, AV, and other vendor contractsSkilled at conducting marketing research and the ability to present and explain dataExperience with Salesforce or similar social marketing platformWrite collateral and assist in the design processDevelop, execute, and analyze email campaignsStrong content writing and editing skills, with an ability to clearly and concisely explain technical and non-technical concepts through written documents and visual presentationsHighly developed organizational skills to manage simultaneous tasks and multiple deadlinesSkilled at developing effective working relationships at all levels in the organizationAdept at collaborating with diverse groups and team-buildingStrong attention to detail, accuracy, and consistencyStrong critical thinking, analysis, and problem-solving skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlinesAbility to operate office equipment, including but not limited to computer, fax, copier, and telephone system

Ideally, you will also have:

Experience with Facebook Ads Manager, Business Manager, Organic and paid ad campaignsExperience with Instagram for businessExperience with Canva preferredExperience with OBS software or other screen recording softwareExperience researching, securing, and coaching speakers hired for eventsExperience with HTMLBachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or directly related field from an accredited college/university

Work Location:

Based in the Tucson, AZ metro area; some travel to the office will be required.

Travel:

Ability to travel to internal and external events within the US when needed.

Compensation and benefits highlights:
