Key Objective(s):
The main purpose of the EVP, Marketing is:
+ Responsible for developing and executing the overall marketing strategy to drive brand awareness, customer acquisition, and revenue growth. The EVP will lead a team of marketing professionals and collaborate closely with other departments to ensure alignment with business objectives. This role is pivotal in shaping the company's positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategies, with a strong focus on new market penetration and event launches.
Primary Responsibilities:
+ Design and execute a strategic vision for the organization's marketing initiatives, aligning with company goals and industry trends to drive growth, traffic, brand initiatives while continuing to increase market share.
+ Define and develop the marketing plan for the business, including value proposition, positioning, segmentation, marketing mix, and aligning marketing execution across all geographies and market segments.
+ Develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns across digital, traditional, and emerging channels to drive customer acquisition, engagement, and retention.
+ Drive collaboration across all departments as an internal advocate to promote consistency, as well as provide an understanding of how the marketing team can support campaigns, initiatives, and be an overall asset to the organization.
+ Translates operational strategies and plans into marketing and communication objectives to drive standardized and measurable performance standards to track and ensure continuous improvement and desired results.
+ Lead our efforts to develop creative content and marketing solutions around our players, events, and other company initiatives.
+ Build strategies to scale paid traffic campaigns to drive high ticket conversions.
+ Build targeted strategies to drive traffic for our partner retailers and restaurants through promotions, campaigns and activations.
+ Set and enforce brand standards by ensuring that all content, promotions, design, and voice are consistent with American Dream brand and empower the team to help define what that brand is.
+ Increase brand visibility through brand perception metrics, targeted marketing campaigns and effective public relations strategies while ensuring uniformed, organizational messaging and visual identity across all channels.
+ Execute robust marketing strategy that drives visitation numbers, generates revenue, and expands brand/product utilization.
+ Utilizes data analysis, market intelligence, and consumer insights as foundational for the creation and execution of all marketing and communication strategies and plans.
+ Develops KPIs in partnership with senior executives and holds overall department accountability for goal measurements and targeted ROI for the marketing and communications team.
+ Develops annual operating budget for full scope of department activities that includes appropriate funding levels for all relevant and necessary programs.
+ Establish internal continuous improvement strategies and processes established to elevate the level of the team to mirror company and brand growth.
+ Foster a sense of unity and collaboration within the different areas of the marketing team and identify areas of growth for each team member individually as well as the larger group.
Desired Qualifications:
+ 15+ years of experience across all verticals of marketing, strategy, and technology
+ Strong background in digital marketing including experience in social media, managing paid advertising campaigns, database growth, brand awareness & launch campaigns, media buying & OOH marketing, as well as creative design for both static and dynamic needs
+ Proven track record of developing and executing marketing strategies in diverse global markets, understanding cultural nuances and regional dynamics.
+ Demonstrates the ability to be incredibly hands-on and organized, with the ability to stay even keel while working under pressure
+ Demonstrates tenacity and willingness to go the distance to get something done
+ Anticipates issues and understands the impact of one event on another and proactively addresses it without being told what to do
+ Ability to have "radically candid" conversations with people; is a natural communicator and communicates frequently with the team and values accountability throughout the group
+ Ability to influence business strategy with a view of current customer needs and market opportunities
+ Experience identifying and analyzing complex problems to create short, mid, and long-term solutions across marketing and sales initiatives
+ Proven ability to develop strategy and execute day-to-day tactics
+ Results oriented; takes initiative in a highly collaborative environment
+ Must be able to work flexible hours, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
