**EVS Aide - Mission Viejo** **Job Description** As an EVS Aide, you will be responsible for cleaning rooms after patient discharges, bathrooms, and receiving training on proper floor care, including stripping, buffing, and waxing. You will work closely with nurses in a hospital setting, handling tasks that involve blood, urine, and vomit. **Responsibilities** + Clean and maintain patient rooms, including taking out trash, cleaning linen, mopping floors, and doing laundry. + Clean common areas such as lobbies, elevators, and hallways. + Read and complete work orders, including tasks such as trash removal or spill requests. + Perform janitorial duties, housekeeping, and custodial tasks. + Sanitize and clean up various areas within the hospital. **Essential Skills** + Experience in janitorial duties, housekeeping, and cleaning. + Ability to sanitize and perform custodial tasks. + Proficiency in mopping, sweeping, buffing, vacuuming, and dusting. + Strong customer service skills. + Ability to speak English fluently. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + 1 year of high-volume experience in environments such as hospitals, hotels, schools, universities, office buildings, sports arenas, or amusement parks is preferred but not required. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
