WE LOVE OUR WORK. Supervises and coordinates the day to day activities of workers engaged in cleaning and maintaining premises. Inspects assigned areas in order to provide feedback to management and team members on the cleanliness and maintenance of those areas against standards. Provides training, coaching, and counseling to Housekeeping team members in order to assist in reaching profitability, guest satisfaction, workforce strength, and compliance goals. This position is responsible for providing a high level of guest service and promoting a positive attitude to create a fun and entertaining experience for our guests and team members. Creates maintenance requests by filling out work orders. Controls and accounts for all Housekeeping keys as per standards. Reviews workflow and staffing levels, and assigns work to staff. Conducts/Monitors daily shift meetings with staff to communicate marketing promotions, company news updates, and policy/procedure changes. Investigates and helps resolve guest complaints or concerns in accordance with company and departmental policies and procedures.Delegates emergency and non-emergency calls for Housekeeping as needed. Conducts daily performance reviews for all areas through hands-on supervision. Monitors attendance and takes corrective action as needed. Schedules department staff for proper coverage in all areas according to business needs. Trains or retrains team members. Administers frontline reviews. Motivates top performance through positive coaching and administers corrective counseling when necessary. Inventories departmental supplies/uniforms and requisitions as needed for all areas. Other duties as assigned. BRING US YOUR BEST. High School Diploma or GED equivalent with 2–3 years of management experience in a guest service environment; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Knowledge of professional Housekeeping procedures is preferred. Basic computer skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook) required. Must understand and speak the English language. Flexiblity to work a variety of shifts.PHYSICAL DEMANDS While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. The employee frequently is required to stand and walk. The employee is occasionally required to sit; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, and crouch. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. The employee requires manual dexterity to operate all necessary equipment. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and distance. Must be able to push and pull carts and equipment weighing up to 250 lbs., occasionally.
