**Job Title: Housekeeping** **Job Description** Perform all routine, terminal, and isolation cleaning tasks on a timely basis, including high/low dusting, wall/ceiling/vent/lighting cleaning, restroom facilities cleaning, and floor care. Responsibilities also include removing and transporting trash and medical infectious waste, moving furniture and other equipment, and cleaning various areas such as emergency rooms, operating rooms, offices, public bathrooms, clinics, nurses' stations, and exam rooms. **Responsibilities** + Perform routine, terminal, and isolation cleaning. + Conduct high/low dusting and wall/ceiling/vent/lighting cleaning. + Clean restroom facilities and perform floor care. + Remove and transport trash and medical infectious waste. + Move furniture and other equipment as needed. + Clean emergency rooms, operating rooms, offices, public bathrooms, clinics, nurses' stations, exam rooms, and other designated areas. **Essential Skills** + Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. + Ability to stand for 8 hours. + Proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, hearing, and comprehending English. + Stable work history with jobs held for a minimum of 6 months. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Preferred six months of cleaning/housekeeping experience. + Experience in housekeeping, janitorial work, environmental services, caregiving, or custodial duties. **Why Work Here?** Enjoy long-term contracts with annual raises based on performance reviews. You will work with and/or near patients and hospital staff, and frequently handle medical infectious waste. The role involves frequent pushing, pulling, and transporting of heavy objects, equipment, and furniture. Expect continuous physical position changes to accommodate cleaning tasks, occasional use of stepladders, frequent kneeling and stooping, and constant repetitive hand/arm motions. There may also be occasional exposure to exposed patient body parts. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract position based out of Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $15.50 - $17.00/hr.
