**Housekeeper for Hospital!** **Job Description** We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Environmental Services Housekeeper. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation within healthcare facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for patients, staff, and visitors. **Responsibilities** + Use detergents and germicides in daily cleaning tasks. + Wet dust all surfaces. + Make beds using correct bed-making techniques. + Dust mop and wet mop floors. + Vacuum carpets. + Clean bathrooms following proper procedures. + Wash walls and windows following proper procedures. + Clean rooms after patient discharge following proper procedures. + Clean surgery and recovery areas following proper procedures. + Recognize areas needing attention and take appropriate action. + Incorporate assigned cleaning tasks into daily routines. **Essential Skills** + Proficiency in cleaning and housekeeping tasks. + Experience in janitorial duties such as mopping, sweeping, and vacuuming. + Ability to sanitize and maintain environmental services. + Strong customer service skills. + Basic computer skills, including the ability to work with email. + Must be able to speak, read, and write in English. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Sort soiled linens following proper procedures. + Wash laundry on appropriate cycles. + Dry laundry at appropriate temperatures. + Perform correct folds in individual categories of clean linen. + Distribute and store linen following proper procedures. + Incorporate assigned duties into daily schedules. **Why Work Here?** We offer a supportive and collaborative work environment where your contributions will be valued.
