Overview The EVS/PAD Utility Porter will play an important role in performing cleaning duties, through proactive and professional services for the property. This role is responsible for the sanitization of all public areas through proper use of equipment and cleaning tools. Responsibilities Clean and sanitize all sinks, toilets and urinals using various chemicals as directed. Pick up any trash from the receptacles and/or off the floor and dispose of it properly. Pick up and dispose of all empty beer bottles and glasses. Clean, empty, and wipe all ashtrays and replace missing ones. Follow the required procedures for the cleanup of blood, infectious materials, or body fluids containing blood in accordance with the OSHA Blood-borne Pathogen Standard and Exposure Control Plan. Guarantees all chemicals in assigned areas have proper labels according to the Safety Data Sheets (SDSs) and ensures all cleaning materials/equipment are utilized per the manufacturer’s instructions. Qualifications High School education or GED required. Minimum age requirement is 21 years of age. Minimum one year of related experience required. Be able to obtain appropriate licensing required by state law. Professional appearance and demeanor. Effective communication skills.
