Job Description
Under general supervision, maintains a clean and sanitary environment. Performs manual work and housekeeping tasks to ensure patient areas and surrounding areas are kept sanitary, orderly, and attractive, with a focus on cross-infection control procedures. Responsibilities include collecting bio-hazardous waste and transporting it to holding areas for disposal.

Work Environment
Working in a hospital environment means exposure to undesirable fluids, non-infectious waste, bio-hazardous agents, and cleaning chemicals throughout the workday. You will be subject to frequent interruptions and pressures due to multiple callers or inquiries. Interactions with patients, visitors, doctors, nurses, and hospital admins require good communication skills and a positive attitude. The role is fast-paced and requires standing for about 7 hours a day.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00
