The following position is to join our RTX Enterprise Services team: This is an exciting opportunity within the Global Security Services (GSS) Cybersecurity organization supporting the Enterprise Wide Area Network (eWAN). The eWAN provides centralized delivery of advanced digital technology (DT) and security services to multiple classified program efforts across the enterprise. The eWAN transforms the delivery model of classified information processing and provides critical collaboration, computing and communication resources to key business initiatives. What You Will Do: Our eWAN Cybersecurity Technical Team is seeking an Information System Security Officer (ISSO). Focus areas include environment monitoring, infrastructure support, and configuration assessment. The eWAN Test and Evaluation ISSO (Technical Team) will be part of a team of technical ISSO’s responsible for leading the implementation of security controls, overseeing daily operations, and ensuring consistency in compliance enforcement. This individual will work on a cross-functional Security Services team of Digital Technology (DT) and Global Security Services (GSS) personnel. They will be leading and executing compliance standards across our classified enterprise network and developing new security capabilities offered to eWAN tenant programs. The role requires a unique blend of technical knowledge and leadership skills; the eWAN is a transformative business initiative which relies on energized change leadership and clear communication. The ideal candidate has experience as an Information System Security Officer (ISSO) or Sr. Information System Security Officer (ISSO), with a strong understanding of Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA) compliance requirements. Qualifications You Must Have: + Active and transferable U.S. government issued SECRET security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance. + A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field. + Within six months of hire date, you must obtain and maintain a Security professional certification commensurate with a DoD 8140 IAM level II certified credentials. (Security+ or equivalent) Qualifications We Prefer: + Familiarity with the DCSA Assessment and Authorization Process Manual (DAAPM), the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Risk Management Framework (RMF), and associated requirements. + Knowledge of cybersecurity hardening practices for major technical platforms (Windows, Linux, network hardware, hypervisors, etc.). Specific experience interpreting, implementing, and assessing Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) is preferred. + Experience with information security COTS applications (i.e. endpoint security, security information and event management, vulnerability management, encryption, antivirus). + Proactive problem-solver with strong initiative to identify, develop, and drive new cybersecurity projects while effectively communicating findings and solutions directly to customers. + Excellent time management and organization skills. Ability to work under pressure to meet project deadlines and multitask to support a rapidly changing environment. Primary onsite work location of Tewksbury, MA. (Tucson, AZ or El Segundo, CA may be considered pending supervisor approval) with the ability to travel occasionally between other RTX locations as necessary to support the mission. #reempowerprogram This role is also eligible for the Re-Empower Program. Minimum Program Qualifications: To qualify for the RTX, Re-Empower Program, candidates should: + Be on a career break of one or more year at time of application + Have prior experience in functional area of interest + Have interest in returning in either a full-time or part-time position The salary range for this role is 66,000 USD - 130,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
