EWP Production Coordinator

A Carter Custom EWP Production Coordinator is responsible for creating and maintaining the production schedule. This position works closely with all production departments as well as dispatching, to coordinate and track work orders from production to delivery. Analyzes work orders and communicates results to Production Manager. A strong belief in the mission and goals of the company are necessary to this position.
Requirements to be Considered for this Position:
Previous coordinating experience in a manufacturing environmentPossess knowledge of manufacturing methods and process improvementsUnderstanding of the production engineered wood productsScheduling and shipping methodsAbility to coordinate multiple tasks concurrentlyExcellent time management and organizational skillsExceptional written and oral communication skillsProficient knowledge in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and OutlookResponsibilities of the Position:
Scheduling:
Coordinates and creates production schedules for the EWP production team Schedules all orders and passes work order information to the Production ManagerWork Orders:
Reviews and analyzes specifications, blueprints, engineered drawings and related designs to determine factors affecting design of the wall, truss and engineered wood components.Safety:
Ensures safety standards and best practices are met during production.Ensures that all machines and equipment are being properly used and maintained.Benefits Provided (full-time employees):
