ResponsibilitiesSkyePoint Decisions, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated, team-oriented individual to fill the role of Exchange Administrator. The selected individual will support the Department of State and will require a qualified team member to perform Microsoft Windows Server and Microsoft Exchange Systems monitoring, maintenance, incident resolution and implementation of standard change. This program supports IRM users globally across the enterprise on a 24x7x365 basis.
This is a hybrid position in the Washington, DC office Tuesday - Saturday.
Receive technical work assignments – ServiceNow, SCOM monitoring, etc. Fulfill user requests for technical issues relating to email account management following Standard Operating Procedures. Perform user account and mailbox moves on Exchange 2019 email systems. Perform basic M365 account administration requirements as documented in SOP Add/delete/modify Distribution Lists. Troubleshoot and resolve user Outlook Client issues: setup, permissions, junk mail, and mailbox size increase. Add/modify Outlook shared calendar. Provide technical support for backup systems (Avamar and CommVault) per SOP Assist customers with PST mapping modify/restore. Complete shift logs and turnover. Reply to all customer inquiries within the required SLA and MTTR Document issues and escalate to next tier support as necessary. Monitor systems console and remediate alerts. Perform server builds and decommissions per SOP.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in related IT field or additional years of related IT experience.3 – 5 years Windows Server and Microsoft Exchange experience. Ability to work independently to process technical service requests using an enterprise ticketing system such as ServiceNow, Remedy, etc. Proficient in following standard operating procedures and comply with data entry standards. Experience troubleshooting challenging technical issues and identifying scope of issue to determine if escalation to next-tier support is necessary. Basic literacy in Microsoft PowerShell, Exchange, Windows Server, and Active Directory. Understanding of basic concepts relating to Microsoft Office 365 hybrid environments as well as TCP/IP based networking concepts. Possess strong work commitment to perform on shift as scheduled. Possess strong oral and written communication skills to escalate problems encountered. Experience with ServiceNow. Demonstrate working knowledge of basic service delivery best practices and principles. Ability to efficiently manage outages and the corresponding incident management processes. Must be a US citizen and have an Active Top Secret clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
Operations Manager (SCOM) Backup systems (Avamar and CommVault) CompTIA Network+, CompTIA A+ ITIL Foundation and/or ISO20K experience a plus

Compensation:
Salary Range: $60,000-$71,000
The SkyePoint Decisions salary range for this position is a general guideline only. It represents an estimated range for this position and is just one piece of our total compensation package.
Salary at SkyePoint is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, work schedule, the candidate’s combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability, market data and business considerations.
