Pay: $35/hour
Position: Full-Time/Part-Time

BrightStar Care is looking for a compassionate LPN to provide personalized care for a 19-month-old with Lesch-Nyan syndrome, a rare condition affecting muscle tone and nutrition. You’ll work closely with the family to ensure the child’s safety, comfort, and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

Administer g-tube feedings and medication. Monitor for aspiration risks during eating and drinking. Assist with diaper changes, naps, and general care. Apply leg braces and a support vest as needed. Keep the child safe and engage in favorite activities (e.g., Disney movies). Accompany the family to appointments as needed. Collaborate with the child’s pediatric nurse mother.

Requirements:

Valid LPN license. Experience with children with special needs preferred. G-tube experience is a plus (training provided).
