We are seeking a full-time (40 hours per week) Business Development Executive to join our AlignMed Partners corporate team. The salary range for this position is $115000 - $125000 / year. The Business Development Executive is responsible for market analysis and planning, generating leads and securing contracts with skilled nursing facilities and senior living communities for AlignMed’s medical services. They develop and execute marketing efforts that target new business, maintain positive client relationships and provide start-up coordination for relationships with new client facilities. The Business Development Executive monitors the standards, protocols and processes being delivered and maintained in all activities relating to marketing, business development, customer relations and reporting. RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES: Leads all business development activities for AlignMed Partners with focused energy, creativity and integrity. Assumes responsibility for securing contracts with new client facilities, including skilled nursing facilities and senior living communities. Develops and implements strategic marketing plans that include market analysis/segmentation of key accounts as well as tactics for cold calling, direct mail, social media and trade show operations. Reviews, monitors and adjusts these plans with AlignMed leaders to achieve goals. Maintains positive public relations through professional association membership, association committee membership and trade shows. Assumes responsibility for coordination of new client facility on-boarding, including facility assessment and customer service, while simultaneously conducting ongoing marketing efforts that target prospective clients. Generates contact-specific and formal monthly sales reports for AlignMed’s senior leadership team. Supports regional clinical and operational leaders by overseeing contract and proposal preparation. Contributes to annual new business budget planning in collaboration with AlignMed’s senior leadership team. Assumes responsibility for meeting annual new business budget goals as set by the Chief Operating Officer and President. Maintains positive relationships with customers and other vendor partners through regularly scheduled meetings. Participates in regular meetings with AlignMed’s senior leadership team and regional operations teams. Provides orientation, coaching and mentoring to new Business Development team members. Performs other related duties as requested. COMPLIANCE: Complies with and promotes adherence to applicable legal requirements, standards, policies and procedures including but not limited to those within the Compliance and Ethics Program, Standard/Code of Conduct, Federal False Claims Act and HIPAA. Participates in monitoring and auditing activities and investigations, and implementing quality assurance and performance improvement processes, as required. Promptly reports concerns and suspected incidences of non-compliance to supervisor, Compliance Liaison or to the Compliance Officer via the Integrity Hotline. Cooperates with monitoring and audit functions and investigations. Qualifications: The Business Development Executive must possess a minimum of a bachelor’s degree along with seven (7) years of direct healthcare sales experience. A thorough knowledge of skilled nursing facility operations and/or geriatric care is preferred. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal skills, with an emphasis on understanding clients’ needs. Proven track record of achieving sales goals. Demonstrated ability to negotiate and close deals. Ability to design and implement business development plans.
