The Administrative Assistant is responsible for supporting the Vice President & General Manager and the VP’s/Directors of Cedar Point. They will be a key enabler to improving the effectiveness of the Vice President & General Manager by ensuring topics of importance are communicated in an organized and efficient manger and pro-actively identifying other areas in which they can provide further assistance.

Arranges all travel to and from Cedar Point using the Company credit card, ensuring compliance with the Six Flags Travel and Entertainment policy. Maintains accurate records such as the Business Travel Requests, Travel to Sister Park logs and credit card receipts.Works directly with Cedar Point Director of Finance and the Six Flags Corporate Contracts Administrator on contract administration support. Reviews, revises and drafts park specific contracts and agreements in order to comply with corporate policies. Serves as liaison between customer and management. Maintains current knowledge of relevant contractual procedures and practices and participates in special project meetings as needed.Provides administrative support including answering calls, scheduling meetings, office supply ordering/tracking, processing invoices/expenses, assists with special projects or assignments as directed, and general mailroom duties.Provides Marketing and Public Relations support by awarding and processing monetary donations and keeping accurate records for tax purposes. Awards and processes ticket donations for Cedar Point.Provides guest service according to Six Flags standards when serving the guest or working with subordinates, including initiating guest interactions, answering questions and giving directions.Maintains cleanliness and safety in assigned work area and performs all duties in compliance with Six Flags Safety guidelines and requirements and reports all unsafe or unusual conditions to supervision.Meets scheduling availability requirements, including nights, weekends, and holiday periods to meet business needs.Meets Six Flags' attendance requirements as outlined in Six Flags' attendance policies.Other duties may be assigned.Qualifications:
Qualifications:
The following education and experience, or an equivalent combination of both: Associate’s Degree (2 year College or Tech School), 1-2 years related experience in the theme park, hospitality, entertainment or travel industry.Ability to pass a mandatory (or random) drug test, per Company policy, unless prohibited by state or provincial law. Ability to pass a background check, which may include, but is not limited to, credit, criminal, DMV, previous employment, education and personal references, per Company policy, unless prohibited by federal, state, or provincial law. Exceptional organizational skills, including the ability prioritize workload and multi-task while maintaining attention to detail and seeing tasks and projects through to their completion.Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Products with ability to learn new software applications.Interpersonal skills: excellent communication skills, positive attitude and a customer service perspective. Motivated self-starter comfortable working both independently or in a team environment.Strong relationship management skills with peers, colleagues and management.
